LINK

Granted it's early, but still, that's good news. And it seems Brad Bird is involved.

Yeah I just ignored that news.

Cars is like an abstract painting for kids. It makes absolutely no sense.

But let's keep this on good movies...Do they bring back Syndrome?

I think they have to go big with villains, like at least 2 this time. And I wonder what the "theme" will be. The first one relied on Family and the idea of exceptionalism.

If Bird is involved then I really am excited. One of my top ten of all time. Loved the message and the story.

The flip side of this, of course, is the admittance that sequels are ok. Or we have to get mad at Pixar too.

Everyone complains about sequels, but when even Pixar is doing them...

Or is it the Disney effect? Disney gets to do the originals...Tangled, Frozen, etc. Pixar has mostly been churning out sequels over the last 6 years or so.

I think they basically came out a couple of years ago and states that every other year will be sequel/original. Which means Toy Story 4 is only a few years away.
