I just picked up the series at Wal Mart for $16 bucks. I remember watching it in high school history and forgot about it until today. Anyone else remember?

Patrick Swayze. Great mini series in the 80's which was the zenith of mini series.

I've watched North and South at least 20 times.

The gal Swayze has the hots for, Brett I believe, has quite a chest on her. Bent was an A-hole. I like how he stressed the word sir.

Brett was Swayze's character's sister, played by Genie Francis. Had the hots for her back then.

Swayze's character's love interest was Lesley-Anne Down.

I have it saved in DVR.

My thoughts:

Brett was a dime. I want to wife her so hard.
Ashton was a solid 8 but a whore.
I didn't like the actor that played Billy in book 2.
Orry Main was a fine Southerner.
Madeline was a dumb arse.
I liked the man Charles became. He had a tough road.
Best accents were Bent and Forbes LaMotte.
Justin LaMotte and Cuffy deserved to die painful deaths.
Virgilia disgusted me.
Mr and Mrs George Hazard were very pleasant people.
