Where's the best place to find them. Found some at an antique store over the weekend but mostly obscure stuff. Want ones I actually listen to. Clapton, Zeppelin, ACDC, some new stuff also.

Atomic Pop Shop and thrift stores.

Internet is very old too and it's cheaper than record stores. I'm a big fan/supporter or Atomic though

Atomic Pop Shop is good, but they can be pricey at times. Also check out Lagniappe Records downtown right off Gov't. A local couple basically converted the front of their house into a record store...good selection of older stuff (I've bought LZ, Stones, and Doors albums there) and Louisiana music. If you're heading down to NOLA soon, check out Euclid in the bywater, LA Music Factory on Frenchman, or the Mushroom at Tulane...all places where I've found good stuff both old and new.

France Street...exit 110 at Gov't heading downtown, left on East, then the 1st left. Place will be on the right, should have a yard sign

It's in a house (Tess Brunet's), so don't look for a store front..

You live in covington?

There's a store close to the interstate on the causeway road that has a ton of vinyl, as well as a ton of old nintendo stuff. Fifth and Charles or some shite like that is the name of the store.

Yeah. Is that the new place where books-a-million used to be? Never been in there, need to check it out.

For new releases I always go to the label's site. Obviously the Bay Area has a great number of record stores, but for online purchases for difficult to find items I use discogs. Have never had a bad experience.

Insound typically has a lot of your newer releases, and re-releases too.

And ebay.

But if I can find an album at a local store and it's in good shape, I always buy from them even if it's a few bucks more. Gotta keep those places going. No better way to kill time than browsing through the racks at a record store.
