I just made a huge mistake and started watching Dallas Buyers Club while I am dealing with a pretty bad respiratory bug. I think the movie made me feel worse. (Was disappointed with the movie, too, and turned it off with maybe a half hour left to go). Got me thinking. Are there any movies that give you a healthy feeling, as opposed to this AIDS infested cough fest I just watched? I might need to watch one now.

Groundhog Day always makes me feel better. I watch it whenever I get sick. I'm not sure the subject matter is what makes me feel better but just the movie in general.

I'd just be happy no one has said the first 2/3rds of Schindler's List yet.

Any movie with a training montage, so pretty much all the Rocky movies, Visionquest, Karate Kid etc.

Fat Sick and Nearly Dead..good message and uplifting. Don't let the title(and obvious starting point)..fool you.
