bleah

I wonder what the story is on the "filmaker" who has been working on this story for two years and says he believes Sandusky is innocent. My immediate question is whether or not he's a long time PSU and Jo Pa fan who has carried his denial way too far.

ETA: Here's a link to one person's take on the John Ziegler "film maker" who claims to be so interested in exonerating PSU and Jo Pa by exonerating Sandusky

LINK

It is worth noting that even the Paterno family have distanced themselves from Ziegler. So in this case they are probably not to blame for the latest turn the story has taken.

why did the super ginger even tell the tale, then? this guy whose life was ruined and who was crossing basically his entire social unit and family, just made up what he saw? and it just so happened to match a bunch of people who had claimed abuse?

Should be in jail for not stopping it, IMO.

True, but there aren't any laws protecting cowards as a protected class, so frick him that his career is ruined. Boo frickity hoo. He should have immediately stopped that shite when he saw it. frick him.

I read an article about this recently, and in it, the kid that McQuery claimed to have heard or seen getting raped by Sandusky said it wasn't true. He said they were "horseplaying" in the shower together, but he wasn't raping him.

That doesn't explain all of the other cases though.

I couldn't even imagine. You've spent years and years with somebody and know them well. And then you walk by and see him in the shower at the school molesting a boy. I couldn't even imagine how shocking that would be.

I would probably question if I'm seeing what I'm seeing.

I like how McQueary tried to file a whistleblower protection lawsuit. He would have a point except for the fact that he didn't blow the whistle, and he wasn't fired (he just wasn't retained by the new coach which is standard practice in football).

I don't remember how this case unfolded. The shower thing happened in 2001, right?

Why did all of this stuff come out a few years ago?

If you want to see something really said head over to their Rivals forums. There are some twisted people over there.

An Example.

If we get beyond the "sex act" claims, what do we have? Sandusky "brushed my penis"

quote:

I raised three boys and a girl, I may have been a pedophile by this definition.

Yeah, I do think there's a possibility Sandusky is innocent.

Sandusky is a POS - guilty frick...

But there was a false narrative formed that "pitch fork" week against Paterno and PSU that stuck...and still persists to this day...assumptions and lies were told and those have never been revisited or re-examined. The false narrative became fact to sheeple dopes...like some of you on here. Sort of like idiots on here who think Pete Carroll paid Bush money out of his own pocket and gave money to Bush as a recruiting pitch.

Most people don't want to look deeper and read all the facts.

They want the Cliff Notes version of life.

Read the real facts on Paterno and PSU and read the ridiculous over-the-top NCAA report on USC and the great rebuttal by USC lawyers.

Educate yourselves.

It's easy to say that years after the fact, when you know what happened. When you stumble upon something shocking that you are not expecting in a billion years to see its not so easy. Maybe he should have yelled or tired to break it up, but attitudes like yours and many others toward McQuerry are a good way to get people to not report stuff like that at all. All the down votes and emotional responses to this will not change that fact.

People can rationalize anything. I imagine it's just how she's coping.

Do you think an old woman would just want to admit that the man she loved for all those years is a pederast? She wasted her whole life with an evil human being. That must be tough to swallow. (no pun)

I couldn't imagine trying to process what you've just seen. Everyone likes to think they'd be a bad arse and break it up and bring everyone to justice. In reality, I'd say a small percentage would actually do that. In hindsight, we all say would break it up at a minimum, and more than likely curb stomp that fricker.
