I'm thinking about taking a 6-7 day vacation over Easter break, but none of my friends can commit to it. I may just say frick it and go alone.

What says the OT?

TIA

What kind of vacation. Lots of groups to join and do outdoor type trips.

Not something that I would do, but I wouldn't try to convince someone else not to. If you're the kind of person that can go somewhere outside of your comfort zone without the company of someone else, I think you would have a great time.

I kinda did a vacation by myself for Spring Break. I did a golf trip by myself and just got paired up with other groups. Met some cool people. Had a good time.

Sometimes I leave the office to go eat a good lunch and drink a good beer by myself at a nice burger spot or something.

Good for the soul to be alone without distraction.

Wherever you go, leave your phone in the hotel room while you lounge at the pool/beach/etc. Makes it that much more enjoyable.

Cruise out of Miami to the Bahamas.

I have no problem meeting people and the idea of a vacation completely around my own schedule sounds amazing.

People who can't go places alone are typically insecure losers.

When I would travel alone for business I loved it.

Going places with family and friends is fun too, but there's nothing wrong with being able to go someplace by yourself.

Edit. Oh and if you frick any fat girls or skanks then your friends won't know.

Sounds awesome. I'd do it in a heartbeat. Be open minded, try new things and meet as many people as you can.

Exactly.

Cruise IMO is the perfect vacation for this situation. Leaving out of Miami is pretty sweet too.
