As long as we have CSP, we would be ok. Most likely no Super Bowl, but we would be a playoff team.

And who cares?

Let's go further:
Is Saban a Super Bowl winning coach in Miami?
Does Alabama win or even contend for a national title?
Does LSU have 1 more crystal ball?

would have gotten Culpepper, sucked for 2 years then got Joe Flacco in the draft and been a playoff team every other year.

We might have traded a high pick for Tony Romo.

We might have drafted Vince Young, Lienart, or Cutler,

I think we owe a TON to Brees, but we owe CSP just as much credit. He would have found a way to be successful. Maybe not as successful as we are now, but maybe like .. Current Cincinnati level.

This.

And, I think with Payton, we'd would have been pretty good.
