Help settling an argument

Fiance and I are beginning to combine stuff. Sorry too late, she has the ring so no running. She has this artificial tree that she wants to put in the house. I want to sell it at the garage sale. I just think it's stupid to put a tree, artificial at that, in the house. Trees belong outside IMO. Her argument is that all the design shows on HGTV put them in their designs so they are classy. Settle this debate.

You really want to get in an argument over an artificial tree?
There were many things I would have loved for my husband to part with when we first moved in together. Realized wasn't worth the fight and not that big a deal in the long run.

If it's a good, high-quality artificial tree -- ok. However, there is a fine line and the cheap ones look like tacky trash.
Be on the safe side and "accidentally" sleepwalk to the tree and pee all over it. She'll be likely to toss it then.
You wouldn't get much in a garage sale anyway.

What you're telling us is that you plan on going to your fiancee and saying, "Well the folks from Tigerdroppings gave me arguents A, B, & C, so blah, blah, blah, we're going to throw away this tree." Whatever the OT suggests is final?

I can't tell you what to do but I can tell you what I would do. I would say "there are probably a few people on HGTV that think butt secs is classy. How do you feel about that in our house?"

She actually told me to come on here to get the OT opinion. Said she would make her decision on what you said.
