I've been wanting a handgun for a good while now but being in school on a tight budget prevented that.

I finally pulled the trigger on the SR45 I've been having my eye on!

Went to The Shooter's Club in Harrahan today to take my first shots. Put 50 rounds down the range

15ft

20ft

30ft

I have very minimal experience in the hand gun department, so I'm still getting the feel of it but I'm happy with the results at this time

Very nice shooting for minimal hand gun experience.

That's probably about what my groupings look like after owning a handgun for 4 years. I don't shoot nearly enough. I hate indoor shooting ranges and don't have anywhere to shoot outside around here.

I am extremely jealous. I have been eying that thing and have it on my future to-buy list. I'll have to review one of those bad boys on my channel in the future.

You seem to have made a good decision on your first gun. Glad you like it! Keep that thing close by in case you ever need it. Get some quality hollow point ammo and practice often.

If you are inexperienced with firearms in general I would also take a training class or two and get the skills honed.

Welcome to the handgun club!

Congrats! You beat Bapple to the SR45. He's been wanting one for a while. I'm a Ruger guy. I have the SR22, LC9, SR9c and 10/22 Takedown. You'll be happy with it.

I just have to slow myself down on firearm purchases. I may end up impulse purchasing an SR45 one of these days.

Ruger makes some great products.

I've got one.

Convenient, but sacrifices a little bit of accuracy. My solid wood stock one is a nail driver though.

Tell me about it. It becomes an addiction after a while.

In the past 3 months, I've bought a Benelli Shotgun, Beretta Handgun, and a Kimber Handgun.
