I'm all about that Chinquapin life. They come in right behind the sac-a-white-crappies, which is happening now.

I have not found them bedded in years, but I know where they go post spawn. Nice trips when The White Perch stop biting.

I wouldn't say "bedded up", but when I start catching chiquapin on my white perch spots, I know it's about over for the whitey's.
I keep the chinquapin too, but it's just an indicator that things are changing.

Buddy of mine and I were walking the bank once and stumbled on beds. Dropped out bass stuff and got some red worms. We caught every single fish.
