Amazon increase Prime membership

From $79 to $99, citing fuel and transportation increases. Per email I just received.

it sucks b/c i hear it's going up largely due to their liabilities with the streaming service which is garbage compared to netflix.

still worth it. when i can get 50lbs of stuff for my truck shipped to me in 2 days for no additional shipping costs (aside from the 1 yearly payment), Amazon has a repeat customer.
They really have a great business/customer-service plan that should be emulated by others.
it is especially worth it when my g/f can use the same benefits on the same payment.

Ha. Thought I would switch it up this year. I read Clay Travis articles daily so that's what it is this year.
TD is certainly more difficult to do though.

I am still pissed Tennessee got them to charge sales tax. I no longer use them for expensive items. I can still find free shipping and no tax at other ecommerce sites.

How much shite do you have to buy now in order to break even on shipping? Are they stopping free standard shipping? Im cancelling this year.. No longer worth it. The prices on Amazon have also gone way up in the last few years.
