I just finished watching an episode of Nashville on ABC. I was a little young, but I remember casually watching Dallas in the late 70's and I've been watching the new series the past couple of years.

Do any of you like these? Are the accurate representations to you? Are their anymore series out there based on other cities (other than the legal ones - Boston Legal, NYPD Blue, etc) worth watching?

Always Sunny in Philadelphia.

Never been to Philly so I can't attest to how accurate of a representation it is, but I love the show.

Low Winter Sun is based in a bankrupt Detroit, but I wouldn't suggest watching it

Dallas of the 70's should have been called Ft.Worth. Houston was even more C&W than Dallas.
I lived in Dallas from 1983-2010 and other than Mavs owner #1 Don Carter, I can't remember seeing a man wearing a cowboy hat with a suit. Hardly ever even saw boots with a suit. I did know a girl that dated some idiot named J.R. in the early 80's.

WKRP in Cincinnati-have no idea whether it was realistic.

Even thought the city isn't in the title, I've always thought of Seinfeld as a NY show, Frasier as a Seattle show and Cheers as a Boston show. Not just for their locales but having celebrities/athletes make appearances. Do they count?

Larry Hagman played a judge in a short-lived show called Orleans in the late 90's.
