That place is the definition of mediocre. Literally every jambalaya I've had at a cookout or whatever has been better than the shite they serve up.

They usually ask if you want extra sausage..at least the one downtown does.
I was thinking about getting some pastalaya tomorrow for lunch actually. And I need to get their gumbo one day soon; it's ridiculous good.

Go back and say something. Friend picked up a two gallon gumbo for Thanksgiving. Get home and it is Jambalaya instead. She goes back pissed and they give her two gallons of Gumbo and two gallons of stuffing plus tell her to keep the Jambalaya. At least they know a little about customer service. That being said, how they screwed that up originally is beyond me.

The only Shoppe I liked was the one that burned off of Old Hammond. To me their jambalaya tasted completed different in a very good way from all of the others. Thankfully they are moving to Jefferson Pointe Shopping Center as the Jambalaya Kitchen. The one in Denham that changed to the Swamp Box was flat out bad, and I was never a big fan of the one off of Government.
