I would like to learn and maybe get Rosetta Stone. I graduate next semester and I might take intro to Spanish as my last elective. Also, I have a good basic knowledge of French if that helps. I took like 8 years of French but I was a shite head and didn't want to learn back then.

If you have a very firm grasp on the English grammar, then it is very easy to learn Spanish grammar. Theirs has a much more straightforward sentence structure. It will actually help your understanding of English. The vocabulary would then be your biggest hurdle.

Forget dropping hundreds of dollars on Rosetta Stone. Use duolingo instead.

Rosetta Stone will have you fluent in no time. Probably the easiest language to learn.

Not very. As long as you study and keep using it, it comes pretty easy. The correct grammar is the bitch of it.

This is the best way to learn. You have to live around people who speak it.

Yea I know subject verb agreement is annoying. For people that are pretty fluent, when talking to someone do you translate it to English in your head?

Not very hard, it's sort of like english and a lot of the words are sort of the same.

It was my first language . It's good that you want to be bilingual, it's awesome.
