Next year we save $4 million by cutting Lofton,
$3 million by cutting Hawthorne,
and Victor Butler is an UFA.

Saints havent picked a LB in the 1st round since 1995

If Beckham and Cooks are gone, I'd go with Shazier from Ohio State. He's been rocketing up the draft boards I hear.

The Saints will set up to take best player available, maybe a WR, but likely an OL or DL.

I'd be shocked if we took a WR early unless the value was crazy. Look at the WR FA market. WR are cheap. OL and CB is what I hope we have some good options at in the 1st and 2nd

If Shazier is there, it's a no brainer. Heck I would give up something in 2015 to move up a few spots to make sure
