I am seriously out of shape.

And there are more inclines in Baton Rouge than I thought.

About how long will it be before my legs stop feeling like jello?

You should get over that pretty quickly, if you're REALLY out of shape maybe 3 weeks.

I don't think you're supposed to ride up the stairs, man.

It won't take long. I'm assuming its a casual pace since you're headed to work

Make sure you overinflate the tires a bit. It will make it easier as your legs adjust

Yeah biking is good exercise and a good way to go short-medium distances, but damn it sucks when it's really cold or hot.

or rains like it often does in BR during these months. It seems like a cool idea in theory, but terrible idea in reality.
