Assuming(a huge assumption) that we have similar Quarterback play and defense the next couple of years.

To be honest, I don't know enough yet about how the playoff is going to work. Can two SEC schools get in, or did they limit it? Ive heard both ways, not sure what they are actually going to do.

If all of that happens we will go 9-3 the next couple of years.

2012, barely lost to Bama and Florida. Last year barely lost to Ole Miss. Bama beat us pretty good but they are losing McCarron and a bunch of d starters I believe.

No idea.

Doesnt depend on 1 player. And doesnt just depend on us. What are the other programs going to be like for the next 3 years or so? No idea.

What will our QB be like the next 3 or so years? No idea. What will our OL be like the next 3-4 years? No idea. What will our defense be like for the next 3-4 years? No idea.

False. Lack of passing attack due to inexperience.

Are you serious, Clark?

You realize how dominate our defense is going to be with all the pieces we've been getting? We are going to be a relatively young team that has an incredible talent ceiling.

False, if all things remain similiar to last year, we will end up like we did last year.

Hell no - at least not the way you stated it. QB play has to be as good as or better. Count running in the QB contribution with this group however. We have a big hole in the WR spots. Also Defense has to improve a lot which is possible.

Hill had the 2nd best single season rushing in LSU history. Hill had the 2nd highest ypc in the SEC in the last 20 years. LF is gonna be good, but Hill is one of the best rb's we've ever had. Not to mention that Mett threw for 3K yards.

We don't need Fournette to go off to be in the hunt for the NC...gonna fall more on the qb play and the defense IMO.

No, I'm not you unoriginal bastard. Although,if we simply replace Hill with LF and everyone else produces the same, as stipulated in the OP, then yes... probability says we will have the same type year as this past year.

How "dominate" will our defense be? Super dominate or just kinda dominate?

Maybe as a junior. We need QB play first.

I cant see LSU winning the SEC next year much less the NC. QB play will not be good enough to offset a good running game and pretty good defense.

Of course I hope I'm wrong!

if bama wins the SEC this is probably true, if another team wins and bama has 1 loss in the top 5, they're in.

I'm hoping for more efficient QB play. Defense will be back in the top 10 like the last 3 years prior to 2013. Fournette will produce better stats than Hill even if that sounds like a huge boast. In 2015 and 2016, we'll definitely be NC built. In all our losses between 2010-2012, we lost because the offense couldn't put them away. In 2013, the defense couldn't do its job (except I blame Mett for Ole Miss with the back to back ints into triple coverage).

People think, ah, we had this exceptional offense last year, how are we gonna replace it, well considering we are a pro style offense with emphasis on running the ball, we should average no less than 220 a game rushing going forward. With the talent at skill positions and now getting the QBs and coaching, we should average no less than 2500-2600 yards and 18-20 TDs in the passing game every year. That would have put us at 54th last year in YPG or Total Offense. Don't expect every offense to be that good in the SEC the next few years considering we were 7th in our own conference, while 34th in the country in 2013. SEC defense will return.

TL;DR version, False. You have to be dominating in 2/3 of offense, defense, or special teams. We dominated in no category last year.

UF was one endzone fumble away in '12 with bottom tier QB play and absolutely no WRs. But, they did have a running game and a top tier defense.
