I'll pay for his plane ticket. I've not seen one center in the NFL get blown up as bad as he did last year.

Wanna know how I know you don't watch other teams?

I've never seen a player criticized this fricking much, who really didn't deserve it. Is he great? No and we absolutely can upgrade, but holy fricking balls this dude has been serviceable. Bunch of idiots on here and I'm tired of it.

That's probably the only thing the dude is worth servicing.

He's an unrestricted free agent so we're not getting anything.

Isn't he unrestricted? Doubt we get anything for him, wouldn't he just walk?

He was getting blown up a lot when Evans was dealing with his injury. Grubbs wasn't helping matters either. It was trickling up and down the line.

I kind of thought the guards were having a hard time because of his poor play. But hey I'm not a NFL exec so WTF do I know.

It was a combination. Jahri was struggling with the injury.....causing him to hold more.....putting more pressure on the line. Grubbs regressed which also put more on DLP.

DLP didn't play as well as the previous season, but there were other contributing factors.

They were all having a rough time. Strief was the only one playing well for a bit. They all looked good in the playoffs.

I'm all for upgrading the spot, no doubt. I just see the dude talked about like he was the worst player on the team. Once Armstead got into the swing of things, the OL looked pretty good.

Again, he's nothing special and I definitely think we could upgrade, but he's not bad either.

There were worse starting centers last year than Brian de la Puente......

ah... the ole "serviceable" lable. Visions of Shanle anyone? I cringe when i hear that.

cant have "servicable" player at center when w/Brees at QB. Gotta prevent the push and allow room to step up.

Id argue that LG, C, RG, are the most important positions for Drew being Drew. C being arguably the most important.
