McCune was a starter before. Actually was the Friday night guy as a freshman. Out of necessity moreso than his stuff. Imo he doesn't have the arsenal to be an effective long term starter. At least not in SEC play but is good in more short term roles or spot starts. Would rather him start if the choices were between him Cartwright and Fury though. Fury should have a role similar to that of Bertuccini did a couple years back.
