Going there for business and want to take the wife/kids along this trip. Will stay at Paradise Island, so they'll have the huge water park activities. When I'm done, what are other good places to visit, things to do or places to eat? Anyone with previous experience here?

One of the best snorkeling spots in the world. There are ton of secluded coves and lagoons straight out of a movie. Wife and I rented a boat and guide and spent half a day to picnic on a secluded beach and snorkel. It was so secluded that we could walk down the beach a few yards, around a corner, and be the only people on the beach.

Everything you really need will be where you are staying. Other than that you can hit the market up

Nice! We will get a hotel sitter one day and try that. Where do you get a boat and guide? Also, any places to do a small boat fishing, land, cook, eat and snorkle?

Eat conch fritters from a street vendor. Pick the one moving the most for the freshest taste.

It's fun. Ride scooters and go to the beach. Stay away from downtown though. Nothing you want to see.

Damn! If it wasn't for the kids I would stay there! Nice. Great lead for a nice place.

Most important thing you can do there is set up numerous trusts and LLC's to route funds off shore and away from the American government's grasp.

At anytime they can arbitrarily decide what is yours is now theirs, freeze your assets, drag you through years of court and audits and then seize it on paper after having already dispersed your assets years before.

Just never disclose your oversees holdings force them to find it and prove it. Bahamas laws prevent disclosure to any one or gov't.

Go to FishFry, series of restaurants on the main island.

In Atlantis, go to the Bahamian Grill and order the Mixed Grill (if you're a meat eater). Relatively inexpensive for Atlantis and the best meal I ever ate in my life.
