a lot of talent comes out of here, but they've been underachievers come playoff time and now John Ehret is set to run the district again

I'm extremely thankful for that man. He helped me mature as a 16 and 17 year old and always had the faith in my abilities to be his kicker even when I didn't believe in myself. I wish him the best! He did a ton for his team especially some of our players who came from very rough backgrounds.

He brought me from an average kicker to being all state

......honorable mention

Regardless, I hope they can hire someone who is LSU friendly. Not being a homer but WJ, Ehret, and Higgins are all sleeping giants when it comes to football in Louisiana. IMO. I seriously don't know why more kids from the West Bank aren't getting more looks, not including the Karr and Walker ones.

IYAM the right coach could make a contender of one of the Alexandria-Pineville schools. I can't remember the last time one of them made a deep playoff run.

Jesuit guy that Hank Tierney brought on board and did an awfully good job at WJ. He absolutely owned Ehret.

Shawn, how many kids is Karr poaching from JP?
Seems like EJ is doing the same as them on the East Bank, they just got a QB and WR from Landry-Walker.

No, I meant EJ was getting kids from all over. 20 Srs lived in Bonnabel's district.
Salt told me about the two coming from the Westbank of Orleans. He also said "kids are rolling into" EJ, his exact words.

Lol, that Principal hated Salt, but didn't want to lose him. He even went to Hahnville and chewed their principal out! Now Salt doesn't have to teach English anymore, in fact doesn't have to teach any class. St Charles Parish gets it.
