Does anyone have any insight on what moves might be made to improve the OL across the board? As much as people talk about teams needs, I think it should be a main focus for FA/the Draft.

We'll probably draft a C in round 3/4(stork or the kid from utah st)

LT is set with armstead

Even if we don't resign streif we can find a solid RT for 4M a year

In short we'll be fine

We might be going cheap on the o-line. Lelito and Harris/Jones/draftee. I don't see them spending money on RT in FA besides Strief, and that'll be a cheap deal (if he'll take it).

I would personally get a tackle in the first two rounds and a center in the first five. To say we are set at tackle with Armstead and Streif is wishful thinking. Oline was our weakest area last year. Drew is the team. Keeping him upright is key to our success.

god, i hope not.

i think we need to draft a young, tough guy at center. A guy that sort of got my attention was Russell Bodine from UNC. He put on a show at the combine with 42 reps on the bench. Supposedly, he plays with a mean streak. Not real sure what other intangibles he would bring to the table though. DLP seemed like he was having a hard time for most of the year. I guess he played better at the end of the year as the whole offensive line seemed to step up their game in the playoffs, especially against the Eagles.

if Strief walks...eh... not sure how to feel about that. I thought he did well but Ahmad Brooks sure as shite gave him a lot of trouble when we played the 49ers. But he also had a whale of a game the against us the year before when Strief missed the game because he was hurt. I believe Bryce Harris played in place but also got hurt.

but don't get me wrong.

i know why we would have to go cheap at O-line.

i just won't be that optimistic if we do.

Streif, sure.

Armstead? Let's see if he can string together a few starts without Drew getting decapitated.

Resign Strief, continued offseason improvement for Armstead, and sign a C in the third.

Done. Profit.

I think we draft a lineman in the middle rounds and get a solid vet on the cheap. 3 spots are already locked up, possibly 4 if they like Lelito as much as people say.

Biggest improvement would be throwing DLP into oncoming traffic.
