Turned it on a couple hours ago and the tint/color is all messed it.

It's a Samsung smart TV that's only a few months old.
The youtube video's are normal, but the people on TV are yellow/green with purple lips....

I've been messing with the settings for 30 minutes, and can't get it normal?

How is your cable set up? Is it it a set top box, and if yes, is it hooked up by an HDMI or component cables?

Still under warranty then?

I have an older samsung that has been doing something similar for a while. I was told that it couldn't be fixed, but I can't accept that as an answer.

Hopefully that is all it is, or if it is a bad HDMI port, it is the port on the cable box and not the TV

Sounds like one of the 3 color coded wires for component from the cable box tonthe tv is out or unplugged.

If you are using component cables and one of the wires is not secured properly, or is bad. It will throw the color of the entire picture off.

Hdmi signals are either 100% or 0%.

Many times it is the case. The replacement part is actually not cost efficient to replace.

Ive had my repairman (on an old LED) tell me if its not covered under warranty, put it at the road.

Yours is covered at least a year, send it in NOW

1. Tell the wife it's busted
2. Go to Best Buy
3. Purchase 80" TV
4. Profit
