Wish I could help. It is not hard. A little time and some extra hands is all that is needed. Beer should get the help you need.

What did you get?

Going to get the AEV 2.5 inch lift with geometry correction. I'm not really doing any serious crawling and I drove a buddies and it's what I want. I could go with something cheaper but then I'd have buyers remorse

I'd possibly be down depending on the day. A little OB get together with beers and trucks. And bring a pair of titties too. Or more than one pair.

I wish I was closer. I'd come help just to observe the process so I have a rough idea of what it will be like when I lift mine in a few months.

Just bought a 2014 JKU. My previous was a 2002 TJ. I had to order her to keep a manual transmission.

Very nice. I haven't done a 2014 but I can't imagine it to be difficult. Then again, Jeep never ceases to do things that mess ya up.

Here's another famous Chesty in a Jeep

I have an old family friend who's a helicopter mechanic that helped me remove the transmission in my old YJ back in the day. His son went on to get a TJ and I'm hoping the two of them could help me do mine. It would mean driving it 3 hours to my hometown but I could probably swing it in a weekend and my wife and kids would get to visit her grandparents as well.

Again, Wish I could make it. I have to pull my rear diver spring. Looks like it shifted if that is even possible. Terraflex spring and a Daystar .75 spacer. The top of the coil, the spacer, and the isolator holes are not aligned for some reason. ?? Need to pull it and put it back in and see if that is better. I would not have noticed, but this thread got me a crawlin under this afternoon checking around.

How is it coming?

Today I had to adjust my rear driver side coil. Somehow it was cocked at the top somehow. I jacked up the ole Jeep and lowered the read axl to make the adjustment. Nothing to it
The rear is easier for me due to I can lower the rear axl more than the front. The front has bump stops that make getting the coils in a bit harder. I used Grease, 2x4s and an extra jack to get those coils in.
