WBRSO major issued summons for shoving officer

quote:

The passenger told me she was Nancy Graham, Major Ronnie Graham's wife," wrote Zalfen in his incident report. "I attempted to place handcuffs on Mrs. Graham and Mrs. Graham pulled away. I grabbed Mrs. Graham by her left wrist and turned her around and placed the handcuffs on Mrs. Graham."

waiting for the video to come up on WAFB. During the news they showed it. The husband showed up, pushed a cop, then the cops almost tazed the husband (major)

quote:

Don't sneak up on me like that," said Graham.
"Shut up," said Addis officer Chris Hogan.

That's when the Addis and Brusly officers both pulled out tasers and nearly used them on the off-duty major.

I will guarantee that addis cop was under 25 with a hardon for his job.

My wife and i had an incident with a similar iberville parish cop because my rental car had a registration that expired the following month.

A LOT of trash being hired from plaquemine to port allen these days.

He didn't get a DUI after driving to the scene intoxicated?

The Major ends up getting charged by his own agency and his wife walks without charges. In this case, I have to agree with the Major: Why the hell were the officers arresting her?

According to the Officer: "She has to listen to me!"

Well no, no she doesn't in that case. All of these dudes should have just whipped it out and seen who had the biggest one.

it sounded like they were just throwing out BS on the tv. The Major Didn't sound or look like he'd been drinking,

He detained her. He didn't arrest her.

we don't know what the intent was. Maybe the cop told the driver to come see the headlight that was out and he needed to get it fixed.

I've had it happen to me before when my headline was out. Cop pulled me over and told me to step outside and take a look. I did, got back in the car, fixed it the next day, and nothing ever again.

The wife being entitled that she's the major's wife think she's above the law and can get away with anything. that's her fault.

Short version....

Brusly and addis cops hope for a dui stop.

Instead they get a woman whose husband can and will make their lives uncomfortable. They wrongfully detain the wife citingvsafety, husband arrives and gets pissed...they are pot committed and keep the frick up going.

He may get a misdemeanor summons...but I'd bet dollars to pesos those deputies are dismissed inside of a year.

Oh. The ole "officer safety, I was only detaining her" reasoning. Yep. bullshite.

She isn't free to leave. She is under arrest. I am sure this lady was a real threat.

Addis and Brusly cops are dicks. Port Allen Marshals are worst. I remember when they wrote the sheriff of Iberville parish a tint ticket. Don't act stupid in WBR they are all young cops and ready to take you to jail.
