A second grader had her beads ripped off by a float rider just because she was white.
racist St Martinville parade
Now if the facts were the opposite, how fast do you think CNN would be all over this?

Your link is to a blank Daily Iberian page with just the headline.

Sounds like a rough place down there.

I attended the Newcomer’s Parade in St. Martinville for the last time. It was the most racist display that you have ever seen. We were watching the parade from my sister’s front yard on Main Street. One of my little nieces caught a nice set of beads thrown from a float and was all happy because most of the beads were being thrown to African-American children only. We waved to the lady that threw the beads to signify “thanks”. She jumped off the float and ripped the beads off my 2nd grade niece’s neck and started screaming at her “I bought these beads for black children, not white kids!” One group of thugs raided a family’s ice chest and when they tried to stop them, the thugs raised their shirts to show that they all had pistols. The majority of the thugs causing all of the trouble were most likely from Texas, as the whole town was flooded with cars with Texas plates. The poor St. Martin police and sheriff were overwhelmed by all of the gangsters causing trouble, next year the State Police and National Guard need to be involved if this racist crime ridden parade continues. I know I will not be there, the worst neighborhoods in New Orleans are much safer than St. Martinville on Mardi Gras!

Sorry, won't take the interview to get to read it. If you actually read it why don't you give us some quotes.

Edit: Thanks for the quotes. Well, it's St.Martinville. Thought all the whites had moved out. What is Loreauville and Jeanerette like these days? Is Tri-Parish Golf club still located there?

Was sad to hear about another dumb arse New Iberia cop story made state news today. He put a druggy in the back of the car. The perp was handcuffed and still managed to shoot himself in the back with a gun and died.

Hey, New Iberia cops...frisk them for guns after you arrest them.

And stop shooting black bears. It's against the law.

A forum post is now news? If the races in this were reversed, I would be skeptical. Since they aren't reversed, I am still skeptical. I would have liked to see some video or something. At least something more than a post that comes across like a Facebook status on a site that shows the post being from an anonymous author unless you join the site.

How reliable is this? It's a post on a message board, and not a news story.

Don't confuse them with rational thought.

Well, I don't expect Barry or Holder to step in, obviously.

But, perhaps once Hillary is elected, she can start a big government program called "My Honkey's Keeper" to provide beads for disadvantaged caucasians, particularly in St. Martinville.

You're going to have to come up with something more credible than that.

There is a very sad story about Mardis Gras beads here in Shreveport. A 9 year old got bumped by a slow moving float. No serious injury but he got knocked down.
A Shreveport cop ran to his aid. The cop slipped on the beads and broke his leg.

If true, it is disgusting, but as we all know, these stories tend to be exaggerated a bit.

I do agree that if the facts were the opposite, many people would blindly belief the account without much skepticism including some media outlets.
