How long is your daily commute?

And for those with longer commutes, how do you combat the boredom? I've been extremely fortunate thus far in my life. My commute for every job I've had since college has been:

20 miles (all highway, so could make it in about 15 minutes)
9 miles
4 miles
4 miles

Next weekend I'm moving so my commute is about to go up to 25 miles, with some smaller roads involved so I'm looking at about 35-40 minutes. I'm not complaining because I know some people have it far worse, but that's definitely going to be an adjustment from what I've been used to.

Went from 3.1 miles and 7 minutes to 3.9 miles and 14 minutes. I'm still not happy about it.

~3 miles

5-7 min depending on bus stops that i hit.

it takes me longer to walk from the parking lot to my desk than it does for me to drive from my house to the parking lot.

I'm expecting something roughly similar to this. Do you ever get really bored like 10 minutes after leaving work and realizing how far you still have left to go?

Yeah, bad situation but will be changing, hopefully soon.

Been at it for a year already though.

Right now It's about a 10 minute drive, but I moved for the job. I still drive back to BR every weekend (3hrs).

Before that I had a 25 mile commute that took around 30-45 minutes.

I used to when I first started. The drives were terrible, but I guess I've adjusted to it and it flies by now. I used to freak out when I was stopped in traffic for 10+ min. Now it's just an expected part of my life
