At least we had somewhat of a chance in getting something out of Gordon, Nash was doomed before the ink was dry on his contract,

Nash. He's just getting paid millions to play like 15 games in two years. All he's doing at this point is saving up to put in his retirement fund which I wouldn't be surprised if he does after this season

Gordon is not a bad player when healthy. I still say he is a top 10 sg

Gordon because he affects the team that I pull for.

Nash doesn't contribute because he is injured, Gordon sometimes kind of contributes. He just isn't a world beater.

The guy who isn't playing and isn't tradable in the least vs. the guy who is playing and is semi-tradable, but not likely to happen.

Gordon's is worse. The Lakers can cut Nash and use the stretch provision and spread his contract over 3 years. You know we won't be doing that with Gordon.

Nash's contract is worse on the surface, but when you consider the respective teams, Gordon's is worse.

The Lakers WILL work out their bad contracts, they WILL land a major free agent, they can turn things around quickly....a bad contract for Nash isn't that big of a deal for them.

...a very bad contract for the Pelicans can really set us back

Nash's deal isn't even the worst on his own team. Kobe's lifetime achievement extension is just insane from a cap perspective

I don't know. $48M for ages 36 and 37 coming off achilles tear and a knee injury?

Nash has been a disaster, but he isn't eating ~30% of the cap. This year, his $9M doesn't matter since LA is tanking. And this summer they will use the stretch provision to get rid of him while saving money.

You're right about Kobe. Absolutely ridiculous. But that wasn't one of the choices.

Nothing he said is ignorant. If you have a differing opinion, that's fine, but it doesn't make his wrong.

nash, because Gordon actually plays and the Lakers fricked themselves in the draft big time.
