Very poor articulated article, but I do agree. With 12M illegals here, one would think that by doing the right thing they should be at least considered. We really have become a morally bankrupt country and it's terribly disappointing.

The only reason this is an issue is because this administration is trying o get a pathway to citizenship for several million illegals.
if we cared about getting them out, i would be all for booting the Kraut family.

You people are as dense is possible. This has nothing at all to do with these people's religious beleifes...it is about seeking asylum to avoid prosecution by the duly elected government of a soveriegn ally. Imagine the fall out should this family be granted asylum....how many more people would use such an excuse as a back door to citizenship?

Not really apples to apples. The German family applied for assylum and have followed proper channels to be here. The illegals snuck across the border. To put both scenarios on the same footing is dishonest.
What blows me away is the family originally got the green light to stay and this administration is actively fighting to kick them out.
It would be different if the original finding was they needed to return and the administration was just sitting on the sidelines while the process worked itself out. They were OK'd and Obama's administration would not let that sit.
I feel the democrats, in the back of their minds want to do away with homeschooling. Especially Christian homeschooling and see these rulings as leverage in that fight.
