Unfortunately I've already got the Rough Rider and would rather plunk my money down on a Ruger SR1911 instead.

I have no use for a 1911 9mm, but the Rough Rider is a badass gun for the money. Looks to be a solid deal if you like the Taurus 1911 9mm.

I've seen a lot of problems with Taurus 1911s. Their semi autos may have improved over time but I would buy a 1911 elsewhere.

I guess this is the po mans version of the recent SIG promo and that's why I posted. Certainly wasn't advocating the deal or saying it was a good deal as IDK much about either handgun and I realize its just a marketing ploy. But maybe someone might find it attractive.
