That's a pretty wide net your're casting there.

ON a related note, any one going from LA to Seattle today? Trying to figure out what the traffic conditions are.

On a side note, I booked a round trip flight to DFW on Spirit Airlines for a weekend this summer and it was less than $100 round trip. I saw some one way flights for $30.

I hope you plan on boarding with nothing more than the clothes you have on.

Stay. I have one truck in Canton, and he said he moved 2 couple of miles in an hour. The other truck is in Tyler and the interstate is shut down. Just stay in Dallas.

CBLSU316 is moving from BR to Dallas today. I haven't heard of his travels yet. I think they were staying the night in Tyler or Longview or something though.

My mom and brother were trying to go back to Tuscaloosa after moving my sister to Austin. They said I-20 was terrible between Dallas and Tyler, but I gave them a route through Tyler and they said it's been smooth sailing since getting back on between Kilgore and Longview.

I'd rather walk than fly Spirit Airlines

It's not just the fact that they nickel and dime you with all kinds of fees, but also the fact that they cut corners elsewhere, jam as many seats as legally possible into their planes which means no leg room, and they leave you out to dry and to fend for yourself if the flight is delayed or cancelled.

pretty decent going from Shreveport to around Tyler...but there, it turns into a parking lot...

I sat in traffic from 7:30 until noon today and moved about 10 miles....I finally got to the tyler exit and turned around to get back to kilgore where I got a hotel room...

I honestly don't believe I would have gotten to Dallas by tomorrow morning and didn'g want to spend the night on the interstate...

roads are very icy and the temp hasn't climbed above 25 today, so I am not sure it will be much better tomorrow...

ETA: if you do get on the road, be damn sure you have a full tank of gas along with some warm clothes, food, and water in case you get stuck out overnight...

If you really want to get home you can go through the woods, but there wont be anything quick about it.

Spirit airlines will get you on bag fees and your flight will be 4 hrs late if not cancelled outright. They are not worth the cheap prices. Southwest is far better for a cheap rate compared to American
