First day in 8 years or so of working in a business casual environment where I have ever forgotten. Kind of a weird feeling; you look around and all the other guys have belts.

On a related note, why is it fine for chicks to not wear belts and have belt loops?

One time I was getting dressed, but groggy and mind elsewhere, and when I get to work I realize that the two shoes I'm wearing don't match. It's like WTF?

Yea but I work in an office with like 4 other people, and I don't leave during the day at all (bring my lunch in).

I just figure I'll ride it out

I spilled my coffee on myself this morning

Fun fact: I keep a belt, shoes, and a whole other set of clothes in my desk for these types of "emergencies".

The same reason they can wear flip flops and nobody tells them anything.

I don't agree with this. I think less of anyone who has belt loops but no belt.

I did forget my belt as well as put on one brown shoe and one black shoe a few weeks ago. That was pretty embarrassing.

Last Monday I was a little hung over and got to work before I noticed I had on a light brown belt and oxblood shoes.

Just tell folks it's the new trend. You're bringing back the Seinfeld look.
