In New Orleans it is legal to pay a woman to dance in your lap, but a crime to pay her to dance with you.
Tell me that aint twisted.
Sec. 14-124. Taxi dance halls.
New Orleans city law:
A "taxi dance hall" is where you pay a per dance price to dance with a lady.
That is illegal to operate.
On the other hand - it is completely legal to operate a place where you pay a per dance price for a lady to dance in your lap.
Tell me that aint backwards!
