I have not seen them in about 17 years...and even then, they were way past the "Fly Me Courageous" stage.

I can remember buying "Whisper Tames the Lion" at what FYE is now, back in 1991. It still, to this day, is one of my favorite rock albums from that era (I believe the album was released on Island Records around spring of '88).

In any event, I am going...should be a great show. My wife has become a recent fan because she can withstand that sort of rock (dislikes much of what I listen to).

Any fans?

I've "accidentally" seen them five or six times as an opener. Pretty good show.

Belle Adair

From Alabama. Really great band playing that night at mud and water. Saw them there last year and they were incredible.

Did you make it? How was the show? I really wanted to go, but I passed out early.

On the Friday before the Baton Rouge show, Buren Fowler died suddenly in Athens. He played guitar on Mystery Road, Fly Me Courageous, and a few albums after that.

They're in Houston tonight. I doubt I'm getting a yard pass though.

They were incredible. Vastly underrated.

Yes, they gave a shout out to Buren.

Their new lead was young, but very talented and did a few songs as singer.

They played all their greats...Whisper Tames the Lion, Powerhouse, The Friend Song, Fly Me Courageous, Honeysuckle Blue, and of course ended with Straight to Hell.

Kevin was outstanding...very good, humble human. After all these years, they still got it. They played for 2.5 hours.
