Lucky arse!!! I hunted Eagle Pass this season. More birds than I could shoot at!!! Should be a fun hunt. Not a terrible place to cross the border at; all things considered.

My dad and 4 of his buddies used to go to Mexico every year up until about 3 years ago. The guy that owned the Lodge and hunting plantation where they hunted called him and said the Drug lords killed all the town council people beheaded them and put their heads on poles as warning to the new people replacing them. They decided to start going to Canada duck and goose hunting instead. They were hunting a few hours south of McAllen.

You should invite one of your hunting buddies to go and pay half of his cost. That way you would both have a half price hunt. It would kind of suck to have to hunt by yourself.

That's the plan. The pregnant wife isn't too excited about a border town.

Go over to Texas Bowhunter and give them your details..alot of guys on that site hunt mexico fairly often so they could give you some pointers on what you need to do. There is a campfire section that general stuff like that is discussed.

My men can provide protection at a reasonable price. You won't have anything to worry about.

If you decide not to guy, I would make you a fair offer to take it off your hands.

Let me know if you're still interested in making a fair offer.

Have fun! But be aware that you'll hafta pay income taxes next year on the fair market value of the hunt. Caesar gonna get his share.

If you go; from what I've heard you have to pick the right guide/bird boy. If you pick right you will need two guns so the barrel doesn't get over heated and a case of shells. If you pick wrong, look for singles all day and bring two boxes of shells.
