would you just think it sucked

or would you think it 99.9% sucked but way in the back of your mind say "well at least we dont have to put up with the season long victory lap" for the second year in a row?

The amount of Jeter threads lately is too damn high.

He would probably come back next year.

I highly doubt he would come back after two years in a row of season ending injuries.

I'm a die hard Cardinals fan who hates the Yankees for obvious cliche reasons.

However, I have nothing but respect and admiration for Jeter. He may be the best ambassador for the sport.

He deserves an extraordinary season to cap his career.

I don't mind the victory lap because he deserves it, but I am not looking forward to every episode of MLB Tonight to have some Jeter-filled 10 minute love letter. Sorry, I just don't like that over saturation.

O/U on the number of pedestrian plays by Jeter that crack the top 10 plays this season: 5

ZOMG can't wait to see how many rocking chairs he gets at the different ball parks this season.
