I'm at the game and he just walked to the bench wearing warm ups and what looked like an ice pack on his side. Any injury news?

Done for the game and probably longer

3-6 weeks is common for a shoulder sprain

God damn, watching live it didn't look like anything at all. He kept playing but was just grabbing his shoulder a little. I thought he maybe got a bruise

Only if our trainers are rehabbing it.

It'll have to be amputated

Hopefully that's why he didn't go back to New Orleans.

New Orleans Pelicans All-Star forward Anthony Davis traveled with the team to Phoenix following Wednesday’s 108-89 loss to Dallas, a game in which Davis sustained a left shoulder sprain. The second-year pro was forced to exit with 4:13 remaining in the second quarter and did not return to action.
Due to his injury, Davis did not address the media after Wednesday’s game, but Pelicans Coach Monty Williams said Davis will undergo further testing Thursday in Arizona.
“I don’t know much right now (about Davis’ status),” Williams said. “He’s talking to doctors. We’ll find out more (Thursday) when he has more testing done.”

I'm guessing that he's being checked out in Phoenix not because they fear the team doctors (although there is a lot of evidence that says they should), but because it's a minor enough injury that they think he may be able to play.

Pelicans All-Star Anthony Davis is officially "day to day" with a left shoulder sprain. @AntDavis23
For all you would be tankers, keeping him on the road with the team and being listed as Day to Day means he'll be back sooner rather than later.

Just like when Gordon was listed day to day or Jrue missing a few weeks, sure.
