A House committee debating a bill that would legalize medical marijuana in Georgia and actually allow cannabis to be grown here under tight restrictions, gave the bill unanimous approval to the bill Wednesday.

Good.

Liberty and freedom is winning the day. It's only a matter of time. Institutional inertia is the only thing standing in the way of legalization of weed and it'll be a couple more decades before ending the WOD is a serious reality coming to fruition.

Hats off to Georgia. You have to wonder if it's conservative politicians or the drug company lobby that holds this up from being more widespread.

No. They said medical. Not recreational.

Is this medical marijuana for the really sick, or medical marijuana for people with anxiety and insomnia? It's a step in the right direction, but it's still a big difference.

Maybe, instead of cotton crops, we will have marijuana plantations. Just imagine, vast fields of plants, a big mansion, riverboats taking it up and down the river. And, the jobs it would provide for the locals.

The more advanced we get, the older it becomes.
