Interesting theory on the rain we've been getting lately

Heard this convo at the gas station today:
Gentleman #1: "Hey, man! We gonna get rained out again?"
Gentlemen #2: "Probably so. (Someone) said that his phone is showing rain until 3:00"
Gentlemen #1: "if the man would stay off that moon we wouldn't be having these problems!"

Not only is he implying that us going to the moon is a primary reason it rains a lot in Louisiana, he's implying that we are still going there and on a regular basis.
