I can't imagine that scenario - a best friend of mine would never want the surgery.

I had a friend who wanted to make drastic changes like this when we entered college. He admitted to cross-dressing in nola on the weekends during our senior year of HS and told us that he felt comfortable that way. He talked about getting breast implants, taking estrogen pills, and having his skull shaved down to look more feminine. Of course we were shocked but with the exception of his brother all of us told him we would accept him with whatever he decided to do.
He never went through with any of it and is now married with daughter and seems to be very happy. He does have some nice long hair though. Not that there is anything wrong with long hair on a guy....but his is definitely styled like a woman.
