Nutrition experts: why are prisoners so jacked?

I understand they have all the time in the world to lift weights, but I doubt they are having the requisite post-workout protein shake.

The three meals they are given have plenty of calories plus you are allowed to order other food items from the commissary as long as you have money.
Also most aren't jacked.

You can get "jacked" without all the extra stuff, just not as efficiently.

I'll give you a legit answer. It has to do with the fact of appearing manly and physically fit to stave off attacks from predators. It's an evolutionary thing to protect themselves. They do work out and get proper nutrition, but it's not because they are that different from everyone else. If one looked childish and weak in the wild, they would be preyed upon. Same in prison

The ratio of dudes naturally jacked in prison is on par with those that are naturally jacked out of prison. We all know a dude that can eat whatever they want and barely work out and still look ripped as shite.
If you were to take a walk through any prison yard in America, you'd find a small group of men that actually give a shite about their body, and within that group maybe 5 dudes that defy your so called law of physics. The rest of them look like bloated fat asses.
