No chance he stays in New York. La La will have to adjust to a different state than New York.

I have disliked Melo in the past, but he's been balling this season. He's the only one doing anything for the Knicks right now.

He gone.

He made his bed. I don't feel bad for him at all.

No doubt. He's at the age where all he wants is a championship and I'm pretty sure he doesn't see that coming to New York for a while

Um, this. The bitch moves he pulled to get out of Denver and his continued lack of interest in Defense has me not shedding a tear.

He does not make teams better. He is a stat filler when it doesn't matter. Melo loves melo. That's it

Wasn't his team the 2nd seed in the East? He also took Denver to the WCF.

He's not an elite player like Lebron or anything as far as making teams better, but the Knicks have sucked for a decade. Amare's injury is more to blame than Melo.

He's welcome to come to Atlanta. We need a superstar.

The knicks just dumped too much money into Amare' and now all he can do for them is be a 6th man at best.

Sucks...but that hurt them. If Kobe wanted more rings(or atleast a shot at it) He would take a pay reduction and get Melo and Love to come out West.

This plus his penchant for not playing defense or passing the ball will mean he will never win a title unless he changes that quickly

Certain "Star" players make the people around them better. Melo isn't that guy. He did in fact make his own bed.

Time and time again their have been plenty of examples of him being a selfish teammate on and off of the court. Until that changes, it doesn't matter where he plays and who's around him.

Durant
Lebron
George
Paul
Wade
Bosh
etc.

They get it. It seems that this has escaped Melo.

Exactly.

Melo will NEVER win a championship as a primary scorer.

Once he gets older and can be a viable scoring option as a 2nd or 3rd best scorer guy he might be able to win one.

Dude doesn't help the team. Just puts up 25+ shots a game and hopes to get 30 pts.

People on this board love Paul, but where has that guy led his team come crunch time? He left N.O. for L.A. and got a coach fired because he is white (not saying Rivers is not a better coach but that was all the talk when that was going on)

Wade I think was forced to take a back seat, and still is uncomfortable in that role at times. He's gotten better as his time with LBJ has gone on, but there are still games where he tries to take over and throws up 30 footers just because

The other 4 seem to get it, but Durant is the only one who is a great scorer like Melo IMO

Carmelo scored 44 but made 48% of his shots. The rest of his team shot 55%.

I think he had a good game, but it's not like he was unstoppable or even lights-out.
