Fallon was terrible to start at first too. It's a format that takes a lot of adjusting.

I was rooting for Seth but Amy Poehler was the only good thing about the show tonight. Fallon was the same way though starting out. So who knows.
He definitely needs a better desk/chair set up. The Venn Diagram thing wasn't good. And it looks like he might be struggling to get guests. Joe Biden on your first show? The only actual stars in the first week are Kanye West and Amy Poehler (who's only there because they're friends).

He's one of those people that I have no idea how he's famous. I don't think he's ever made me laugh on SNL. I've never seen his new show though.

YES! I've never understood how he made it. I somewhat like Portlandia if I'm just flipping channels and catch it on, I'll usually finish it. But it's not because of him. I've literally never laughed at that dude.

His delivery in the monologue was identical to Weekend Update on SNL except he didn't have the graphics/pictures to help deliver the punch line. It was flat.
