God damn, 2011 was so fun 
It's really only been within the last year or so that I've finally been able to look at the good from that year. Being at the champ game, it really killed it for me. I couldn't think about it without being furious about 1/9 and how bullshite it was our title was taken by an undeserving team.
But man, what a great team.

Can't be a sidewalk fan if you grew up a fan and have a degree from the school, and soon will have two.

That was a VERY deserving Alabama team. After the season was over there was no doubt about who was the best team; it was Alabama. And that was over the best LSU team of my half century lifetime. Now, they could easily have been left out of the BCSCG since they dropped one to LSU, but they had the best resume of all the contenders. And the "they didn't win their conference" argument is silly. The only criteria for selection is, be one of the two best teams.
