Harbaugh and GM are barely on speaking terms.

Great misleading and suggestive title. Youve got a future in news reporting

I can see JH being a tyrannical dickhead. He can't be what he wants to be (Bellicheck) until he hangs some legit skins on the wall (lombardi trophies). Until then, know you're role and be a team player.

They tried to trade him to cleveland, that should tell you all you need to know.

What was so misleading about the title?

If you ask me, the Niners organization needs to chill out and give some more power to harbaugh.

The dude is a straight winner, so why are they limiting the decisions he can make?

How do you know that they are?

Harbaugh seems like a guy that is a players coach that can relate and scheme well. Is he really a guy that can manage a roster?

He didn't build the 49ers, they were already built when he got there.

That's a fascinating definition of mutiny. Who is the organization committing a mutiny against? Itself? How does that work exactly?

49ers record for 8 seasons prior to Harbaugh taking over:
quote:

7-9
2-14
4-12
7-9
5-11
7-9
8-8
6-10
In Harbaugh's 3 seasons:
quote:

13-3
11-4-1
12-4
He's also made it to the NFC Championship game every season he's been the head coach, and went to the Super Bowl one of those years.

Jim Harbaugh has accomplished more in 3 seasons than a large portion of really good NFL coaches have ever accomplished. The problem is that the GM and President have also had a lot to do with that success.

What's sad is it's not like Baalke is holding Harbaugh back. He's one of the best GMs in the league. Baalke also picked him as coach.

I just can't imagine things could be that bad unless Baalke fricked his wife. Harbaugh is a pain in the arse but he can't possibly be that bad, you can't be successful burning every bridge you cross.

I wish we could get an unfiltered view of reality in the organization. In the end I think Harbaugh stays for league-leading dime, but this is highly annoying.

In fairness, he really could be that bad.

i would just like to know what the big issue is. if its money, how much does jim want? if its power, how much more does he want?

im sure playing for jim harbaugh would kinda suck bc hes so intense and wont let you take one drill off, but hes an exceptional coach. it would take monster balls to get rid of him bc you cant get a long. and on that note, i heard you cant trade draft picks for coaches anymore. if thats true, how would it be done? with players? money?

Looks to me like you've got a GM who thinks the 49ers recent success is primarily because of his doing, and a HC that thinks he is the reason. It's a pissing match between the two where they're probably both right. This team isn't as good without the roster put together by the GM. On the flip side, that talented roster wasn't doing a whole lot until Harbaugh came in.
