PS4 vs Xbox One: Convince me

Finally going to pull the trigger on one or the other. I'm the happy owner of a PS3 that will soon find it's way to eBay. But I'm open to either console.
So which one should I buy and why?

Wait a year or two and then ask this question. I'd think you'd be happier with a gaming pc in the long run but to each their own.

Honestly if you were PS3, I'd probably switch to Xbox unless you just absolutely love those types of games.
I had a PS2 before my 360 and decided to switch back to PS4. I like to get both experiences and hopefully they'll keep putting out the Xbone games on 360 at least for a couple years.

Interesting perspective. I'm leaning a tad towards XBox one because of the Kinect (I have a young son who will be old enough to play here in a few years) and it's compatibility/integration with Cable TV.

Little bit of games like Batman 3rd person games, Red Dead Redemption, etc.
Mostly play NBA2k these days though.
ETA: Would be switching for the Kinect and integration with my cable provider. Assuming it works with UVerse?

PS4, but if you want the Xbone wait for a price drop. It's already dropped in Europe and American will be soon . There is also a Titanfall bundle coming for $500 that comes with the game, my point is if you buy a Xbone now you're getting ripped off.
Also he asked about the PS4 and the Xbone... nowhere did he mention being interested in a PC. It's like you guys can't read a damn thing, or just can't help yourselves.

So basically nothing exclusive to the PS3. Honestly if you are OK with paying $100 for Kinect and the Cable thing, I would go with that.
I purchased my PS3 and PS4 for the exclusive games and series. If you aren't playing those or even interested in them, you probably should be sticking with the XBONE.

Seeing as you mostly play multiplats I would pick the system that they run/look the best on and that's the PS4.

I have noticed that PS4 has stronger components but will their camera system that competes with Kinect be worth a damn? Gotta consider my little guy in this.
And the OneGuide integration with cable is flat out awesome.

Get the one that has the exclusives you like the most. If you want titanfall get the one. If you want uncharted or inFamous get a PS4.

By far my favorite sport. Love watching it, going to games, and in my past life playing.
But I just have never loved console/PC baseball games. And I used to play a lot of them but they were never my favorite. Always preferred basketball, football, even hockey to baseball.

inFamous on PS3 was good but not earth shattering. For some reason I never have played any of the Uncharted series. I truly prefer multiplayer games so that's most likely why. Best story mode game I've ever played was Red Dead Redemption. I also used to love GTA3 and up back in the day but haven't played GTA since playing a little bit of GTA4.
