Went by Cabelas this afternoon and noticed a buffet right down the street. Tang Buffet. Upon closer inspection I saw the sign say the serve "Sushi . Hibachi. Seafood & Stick".
As far as I would like to believe there was an error when they ordered the sign and what it is really supposed to say is "Sushi, Hibachi, Seafood & Steak". However when the owner ordered it steak was misinterpreted to stick. (the accent) But this seems too goo to be true. Could someone please explain what stick is? TIA
Here is a picture of the restaurant.

I have no idea what that means but Greater Baton Rouge has to be home to more of these Japanese buffet places than anywhere I've ever been.

Stick, or stiik, as it is more commonly known in Asia, is a traditionally Japanese dish that incorporates a mixture of shellfish, ginger, and oblong noodles. It's really quite good if you have it done properly.

Check out the Cajun brisket jerky at the beef jerky outlet next to it. Good stuff....

That is going to be "Tanger" Buffet.

This is what I assumed it would be. Unfortunate name for the time being.
With all the roughnecks in the adjacent hotels I am sure they were excited to have a Tang buffet as an option.

Sure that doesn't refer to perhaps shish kabobs?
