Brick Haley still pursuing a 2014 recruit??

Looks like Brick may have leaked some info in a twitter fail.
@CoachBrickHaley: What's up with our boy? Can we still make this happen?

This was tweeted out to nobody in particular I'm guessing as a mistake. Hmmmmm, could he be pursuing a 2014 late signee??? Are there any 2014 guys we recruited that have not signed yet. Maybe Willis??

Has to be. Sounds like he asked, was told he would still sign with Mich St. and then was just checing the time frame to see if he could try to sway him. I used my superior read way too far into simple statements abilities so I'm pretty sure.

From what i read he doesnt want to go to osu like his parents want him to and he said they will make a "compromise" so i guess theres a slim chance

While I certainly feel you shouldn't give up on a recruit until he actually signs his scholarship papers, yes it is still a long shot.
But one question I have is has McDowell actually visited the LSU campus yet? I would think the Tigers must get him to visit if they have a realistic chance to get him.

This is the kind of tenacity I like to see from the coaching staff! Never give up and keep it going all year long...it has to be that way in today's world of recruiting...jmho...and keep the high character players rolling in...let the seriously troubled athletes take the problems elsewhere...LSU can do without them...
