I saw Nirvana on New Years Eve a few months before he died. I can't believe it's been 20 years.

I was at the Smashing Pumpkins show in Biloxi the day Cobain was found dead. Somebody remastered the concert.

This is the show I was at. I almost went to a Primus show instead so I'm glad I changed my mind. Butthole Surfers opened, and Bobcat Goldthwait emcee'd.

I'm pretty sure garbage didn't open for pumpkins that night. But it's so cool that somebody remastered that show. I was drunk as frick and standing at the back of the mosh pit.

Pumpkins lit it up tho. We drove down from Monroe that day, picked up my boy's girl at loyola/nola and then went over to biloxi for the show. I actually remember eating a bacon egg and cheese sandwich on raisin bread at waffle house after that show. I hate my memory some times.

Yeah, I kick myself for being so intoxicated at shows when I was younger. Saw a lot of great bands in their prime that I barely remember.

I was at that show, too. Pretty sure Red Red Meat opened. I'm exactly four days older than Kurt would've been.
