used to umpire some of the private schools like Episopal and Catholic POINTE Coupee, Had a kid toss the ball to me while I was behind the plate without calling time out, My natural reaction was to catch the ball as the runner from first headed to second. Odd stuff happens in baseball like that college player a few years ago that tossed the ball into the crowd thinking it was foul.

That was pretty funny.
